A reintroduction is in order. You may have heard of Silver Lining Productions, we originally opened as a garment manufacturing facility in Eugene, in late 2013. New opportunities opened up for some of the original partners in 2015, and Silver Lining Productions LLC transferred to me, Grace McNabb: jewelry designer, product development specialist and event coordinator. I originally fell in love with event production in Portland when I was part of a fashion incubator and became Marketing CoChair and Trunk Show Manager as we launched the first Portland Fashion Week (2003).
I have been fortunate to work on a variety of fashion shows in Eugene in the last 2 years and this reignited my passion for event production. The swirl of activity leading up to an event is exhilarating! I envision a web of light over all the participants, connecting various activities under a common goal. Models practice their runway walk, designers put finishing touches on their garments, makeup artists assemble their kits for the show; each a pin of light that connects to many other points of light to create the event.
Something powerful happens when we join forces and I am committed to producing events with a deeper level of social awareness. Be it in fundraising for a cause, giving to a charity or sharing the spotlight with a worthy cause, I consider myself a cheerleader. Under my leadership, Silver Lining Productions will strive to provide relevant events in support of fashion and community activism.
